Job Boardly Terms of Service
Version 1.0 — Effective as of 6 May 2026
Welcome to Job Boardly! These Terms of Service set out your rights and responsibilities when using our platform. By accessing or using Job Boardly, you agree to these terms.
If you’re using Job Boardly on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you’re agreeing to these terms for that entity.
1. Who We Are
Job Boardly is operated by Glacier Systems Pty Ltd (ABN 47 687 105 184), an Australian company based in Brisbane. When we say “we”, “us” or “Job Boardly”, we’re referring to that company. When we say “you”, we mean the individual or entity using our Services.
2. Our Services
We provide a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that enables you to create, manage, and publish custom job boards. This includes related tools, integrations, and support (the “Services”).
Our platform is designed to be easy to use — no coding required. Just sign up, pick a plan, and get started
3. Eligibility and Accounts
To use Job Boardly, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Create an account using accurate, complete information
- Use the platform in accordance with applicable laws (including privacy, anti-discrimination, spam, and employment advertising laws)
You’re responsible for all activity under your account. Please keep your login credentials secure and notify us immediately if your account is compromised.
4. Subscriptions, Billing and Cancellations
Job Boardly operates on a subscription basis, with monthly and annual plans. Lifetime plans are no longer available for purchase but remain honoured for existing subscribers under their original terms.
4.1. Plans and Fees
Your subscription details (plan, pricing, features, billing cycle) are outlined in your dashboard or custom order form. All prices are listed in USD unless otherwise specified.
4.2. Billing
- Subscription fees are payable in advance.
- Payments are securely processed via Stripe.
- By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your saved payment method for recurring fees.
4.3. Renewals and Cancellations
- Monthly and annual subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the end of the current term.
- You can cancel your subscription at any time via your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period.
- No pro-rata refunds are provided unless required by law.
4.4. Pricing Changes
We may update our pricing from time to time. We will provide at least 30 days’ notice of any price change via email or your dashboard. You will be given the option to cancel before any new fees apply.
5. Credits
Job Boardly offers a credits system that allows you to purchase credits for use with specific platform features, separate from your subscription plan.
5.1. What credits can be used for
Credits may currently be used for:
- Job imports — importing job listings via the Job Boardly aggregator and job backfiller features
We may make credits available for additional features in the future. Any such changes will be communicated via your dashboard or by email.
5.2. Purchasing credits
Credits are purchased on a one-off basis through your dashboard. All purchases are processed securely via Stripe. The number of credits and the applicable price will be clearly displayed before purchase.
5.3. Non-refundable
All credit purchases are final and non-refundable. We do not offer refunds or credits for unused, partially used, or expired credits, except where required by applicable law.
5.4. Expiry
Credits expire 12 months from the date of purchase. Credits purchased before an expiry policy was in effect do not expire.
5.5. Non-transferable
Credits are tied to the account on which they were purchased and may not be transferred to another account.
5.6. Pricing Changes
We may update the price of credits from time to time. We will provide at least 30 days’ notice of any price change via email or your dashboard. Price changes apply only to credits purchased after the change takes effect — credits already purchased are unaffected.
6. User Content
You own all content you or your users upload to your job board — including job posts, logos, board branding, and company profiles (“Customer Content”).
You grant us a limited licence to host, display, and use that content as needed to provide the Services.
You’re responsible for:
- Ensuring your content complies with all applicable laws
- Having the right to use any content you publish
- Not posting offensive, misleading, or illegal content
We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms or applicable laws.
7. Fair Use and Platform Limits
To ensure quality for all users, we may apply reasonable limits on excessive usage (e.g. storage, traffic, or API calls). You agree not to abuse the service by:
- Creating spam job boards
- Scraping or harvesting user data
- Reverse engineering, reselling, or disrupting our platform
7.1. Content moderation
We review content on the Job Boardly platform to ensure compliance with these Terms and applicable law. Our approach includes:
- Human review — reports of prohibited or illegal content are assessed by our team
- Automated checks — we may use automated systems to detect spam, malicious content, or other clearly prohibited material
- Removal — content that violates these Terms or applicable law may be removed without prior notice
- Account action — repeated or serious violations may result in suspension or termination under Section 12
To report content you believe to be illegal or in violation of these Terms, contact us at hello@jobboardly.com.
7.2. Ranking and algorithmic systems
The Job Boardly platform includes features that affect how content is ordered or displayed on job boards built using our platform:
- Paid listing boosts — board operators may offer employers the ability to pay to promote their job listings above other listings. Boosted listings are displayed more prominently and are labelled as “Promoted” or “Sponsored” on the job board.
- Default ordering — non-boosted listings are displayed in reverse chronological order (most recent first) unless a board operator configures an alternative ordering.
8. Third-Party Services
Job Boardly integrates with and relies on third-party tools including Stripe (payments), Intercom (customer support), Loops (email communications), and infrastructure providers listed in our Sub-processor List. These services have their own terms — we’re not responsible for their availability, performance, or security.
9. Privacy and Data
We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
When you use Job Boardly’s paid services, you are the data controller for personal information collected from your job board users (job seekers, employers, and applicants), and we act as your data processor in storing and handling that data on your behalf. By subscribing to a paid plan, you also agree to our Data Processing Agreement (“DPA”), which forms part of these Terms and governs the processing of personal data in connection with the Services.
You agree to comply with applicable privacy laws when using Job Boardly, including (where applicable) the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR, and any other privacy laws that apply in your jurisdiction or to the personal data you process through our platform.
Cookies and consent management. Job Boardly provides a Consent Management Platform (CMP) on your job board to help you obtain and demonstrate visitor consent for cookies and similar technologies in line with the ePrivacy Directive, GDPR, the UK PECR, and applicable US state privacy laws. You agree:
- Not to disable, bypass, modify, or interfere with the CMP or its script-blocking behaviour, whether through custom code, theme modifications, or otherwise
- That you are responsible for the lawfulness of any third-party tracking technologies you integrate via the CMP (including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, TikTok Pixel, Microsoft UET, and similar tools), and for obtaining any further consents or providing any further notices that the law in your or your visitors’ jurisdictions requires for those specific tools
- To classify each integration into the correct consent category (Functional, Analytics, or Marketing) when registering it in the CMP
- That you remain the data controller for visitor consent records held on your behalf, and may export or delete them at any time via your operator dashboard
10. Intellectual Property
We own all intellectual property in the Job Boardly platform, including software, branding, and design. You own the content you create using the platform.
You must not:
- Copy, reproduce, or reverse engineer our platform
- Use our trademarks without permission
11. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential any non-public information shared under this Agreement, including technical, business, and financial information.
This obligation does not apply to information that is:
- Publicly known (not due to breach)
- Already known by the receiving party
- Required to be disclosed by law
12. Termination
You may stop using Job Boardly at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
- You breach these Terms and fail to remedy it within 14 days
- You fail to pay fees when due
- You use the platform unlawfully or in a way that harms others
Upon termination:
- Access to your job board will be revoked
- We may delete your content after a reasonable period
- You remain liable for any unpaid fees
12.1. Dormant accounts
For monthly and annual subscribers, account data is deleted within 90 days of subscription termination or expiry in accordance with our Data Processing Agreement. The following dormancy policy applies to grandfathered lifetime plan subscribers, whose accounts do not lapse.
Lifetime plan subscribers: If your account has had no activity for 24 months, we will send a warning email to your registered email address. If you do not log in within 30 days of that notification, your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted.
“Activity” includes logging in, updating your account settings, accessing your dashboard, or any other action taken through the platform.
You can prevent deletion at any time before the 30-day response window closes by logging in to your account. Once your account has been permanently deleted, we are unable to recover your data.
12.2. Statement of reasons
In accordance with Article 17 of the Digital Services Act, where we restrict, suspend, or terminate your account, or remove or restrict your content, we will provide you with a statement of reasons that includes:
- The facts and circumstances on which the decision was based
- Whether any automated tools were used in reaching the decision
- Where applicable, information about how you may challenge the decision
This statement will be provided at or before the time the restriction takes effect, unless we are prohibited from doing so by applicable law.
13. Disclaimers
Job Boardly is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We don’t guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
- We disclaim all implied warranties, including fitness for purpose and merchantability
- We’re not responsible for third-party content, actions, or integrations
Nothing in these terms excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law:
- Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before any claim
- We’re not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including loss of data, revenue, or opportunity
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If the changes are material, we’ll notify you via email or dashboard.
By continuing to use Job Boardly after changes take effect, you accept the updated terms.
16. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. You and Job Boardly agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
